He is gentle and loves horses, goats, dogs, and human attention. he has been saddle-trained, however, he may be a little rusty and need a tune-up with little people on board. he has done well with a rider on the lead line, he remembers of independent riding. he will also need a little understanding by his new family of how to move around him. he gets along with more relaxed horses, but can be a dominant little boy. he has a history of founder, but has been declared riding sound for young children by our vet. he will, however, need continued attention to his diet and regular hoof trims to ensure he stays sound. he loads easily and stands politely for the farrier.
